Kangaloop is the discovery engine for out of the box shopping that strives to bring the magic back the boutique economy that once thrived on city blocks.

Longtime clients, the owners of Kangaloop approached Exhibit A: Design Group to create a brand identity for their all-inclusive public boutique directory of cool shops and great makers across North America.

Created for a new generation of shoppers who seek the interesting, unique and out-of-the-box experiences in life – from how they think and live to where they shop – Kangaloop profiles and interviews cool places to get great stuff all across North America. Our guides to curated shopping appeal to those seeking adventure and meaning in the things they buy.

Whether for locals curious about their own cities or travelers wanting a true taste of the hometown experience, Kangaloop celebrates discovery, curation and the power of getting off our couches to explore how we can make a real, lasting difference through shopping. Celebrating the experiences that connect shopper to curator, curator to maker, and maker to shopper, our community of independent retail enthusiasts currently reaches 7 cities across North America.

Exhibit A: Design Group designed an identity that was the result of research, exploration and understanding the future goals for the online search portal. The wordmark  is made up of looping letterforms that also represent individual shopping adventure while the on-the-go kangaroo illustration was inspired by traditional street maps. The addition of the shopping bag gives nod to the category.

In addition to the brand identity, Exhibit A: Design Group developed  a comprehensive set of graphic standards for print and website. Included were concepts for corporate stationery, branded products, and interior and exterior signage.
