Exhibit A: Design Group’s brand identity work to be published in LogoLounge 9, the ninth book from LogoLounge.com
Exhibit A: Design Group, a brand-building agency specializing in strategy, design and storytelling for corporate, consumer and lifestyle brands, has been recognized for four client brand design projects and will be published in LogoLounge’s upcoming 9th publication. The book includes a collection of the world’s best logos which are chosen by a prestigious panel of jurors.
The 9th volume in the best-selling LogoLounge series will showcase more than 2,000 designs from graphic designers around the world. Exhibit A: Design Group was recognized for its Boodo™, Newdo™ and Flippmitz™ brandmarks which were developed as part of a complete rebrand for the children’s wearables brand Udoo Planet. Additional brandmarks for GoGoat!™ Baked Goods, a do-it-yourself baking products company and Kangaloop™, an online boutique directory of cool shops and great makers across North America, were also selected. Volume 9 will be released in early 2016 by Rockport Publications.
“For Book 9, there were over 23,000 logos submitted for consideration and the caliber of work was exceptional”, states Bill Gardner, Founder of LogoLounge. “Each judge reviewed thousands of logos from around the world, each mark submitted by talented LogoLounge members. The final collection is not only an excellent point-in-time examination, it is full to the brim with inspiration, higher thinking, and craftsmanship.”
The judging for LogoLounge Volume 9 included a panel of international judges, including Kendrick Kidd of Shepherd Agency, Matt McCracken of Doublenaut, Sebastian Padilla of Anagrama, Ian Paget of LogoGeek, Tracy Sabin of Sabingrafik, Christopher Simmons of MINE, Matt Stevens of Design Office of Matt Stevens, and Alina Wheeler of Designing Brand Identity.
“These select client logos chosen for publication were both challenging and fun for our studio,” says Cory Ripley, Principal and Creative Director of Exhibit A: Design Group. “It’s not uncommon for us to draw and redraw, iterate and test dozens of versions until we feel we’ve achieved a level of craftsmanship our clients expect. To be recognized by our own industry for this work makes our team feel that much better about our own process.”
